RACE:

Registration for the event will start at 5:00 p.m. at the Greenfield House Community Center, 215 N. Capital, Athens, Michigan.  The Race/Walk will begin and end at the Greenfield House Community Center. The Race/Walk will start at 6:00 p.m. There will be a trophy for the first male and first female to cross the finish line. 

 

If the runners or walkers wish to participate, they will receive flag belt for the zombies, throughout the course, to attempt to take your flags. A ticket will be provided for each flag you still have when you cross the finish line. If you have a ticket, you could possibly win a additional prize.

If you want to guarantee you receive one of the event t-shirts, please make sure you have your registration form and fee to the Athens Area Historical Society by September 23, 2023. Registrations can be mailed to AAHS, PO Box 22, Athens, MI 49011. You can download the Registration form below.

BEST DRESSED ZOMBIE:

If you want to join in the fun, please dress like a zombie.  We will have a prize for the Best Dressed Zombie.

 

BEST DECORATED HOUSE:

Would you like to join in the fun? We will be awarding four prizes for the best decorated houses in the Village of Athens.  There is no registration needed.

If you would like to be a sponsor for this event, please contact Kacie Brunner by September 23, 2023.  We have sponsor levels for donations of $25 (for an individuals), $50, $100, $250 and $500. The sponsors names will be listed on the back of the t-shirts.

All proceeds will be evenly split between the Athens Area Historical Society and the Athens Cross Country Team.
